Unfortunately, we don't have all of the kids on Christmas morning until 2010, so this year it was only Abby again. Last year she didn't quite understand, but this year, she is getting into it much more. Santa Claus brought her a new play kitchen with a table and chairs and a tea set and a grocery cart! She hasn't stopped playing with and always requires guests to attend her tea party! It is so fun to watch her pretend. She takes her grocery cart around the house and pretends to pick things up and put them in her cart. She also pretends to drink and eat the food that she makes in her kitchen, it is so funny! Abby also got a new purse and of course the phone and jewlery that goes along with it. She is my little diva!
Jason kept asking for a "real" monkey, but got a whole "barrel" of monkeys. Jacob got his GIJO guy and hasn't put it down since, I think he sleeps with it! Neither one of the boys can stay inside for too long, they absolutely love playing in the snow. We also got the board game, Ticket to Ride and have had alot of fun playing together as a family. Although, its a tough lesson to learn that you can't always win! During the first time we played Courtney was doing so well in the beginning and just kept saying "I love this game!" By the end she was in tears because she lost! It was pretty funny! There is always the drama!
We have been so blessed this Christmas and are so thankful for our family and our friends! We love you all and hope you have a fabulous Holiday Season! May our Heavenly Father bless you abundantly this coming year!
